Featuring 12 addressable single LEDs, great light coverage, uniform color and brightness, users are allowed to easily configure the RGB lighting and freely adjust fan speed with Thermaltake DPS G PC App.
The SPM platform provides three alert functions: fan failure, over temperature (over 140℉/60℃), and abnormal voltage level (over/under 5% of normal level) warning alert. That will help users to reduce the possibility of overheating your internal components and burning the PC. When the abnormal activities occur, the warning message will be pushed to the mobile devices and email. The SPM platform allows users to turn off the computer remotely via mobile app when users receive the warning message.
The Smart Power Management platform allows users to schedule the system to shutdown remotely through mobile App or cloud management. To save the energy and electricity cost, users could arrange the schedule to shutdown the system when the process is complete.
All new circuit design with PFC & LLC digital controllers efficiently reduces ripple noise and gives steady voltage output.
All ripples are lower than 30mV for high stability on +12V, +5V, or +3.3V from 0% to 100% load to ensure a high quality power supply. Low ripple noise will keep your performance-critical components, such as high-end graphics cards, to operate reliably for longer.

With that out of the way the in terms of rail stability and even noise levels the iRGB PLUS 1200W has nothing to be jealous from the GRAND RGB 1200W and vice versa so if you feel that Thermaltake’s SPM is something you could put to good use this was made for you<More>
It'd be nice to see Thermaltake release more high-performance PSUs in the near future. We've mentioned this many times before: it's bad when enthusiasts only have a handful of options at the high-end. More brands vying for the crown leads to stronger competition and better pricing. Thermaltake is a big company with the resources to do things correctly. If its people paid more attention to details, the TPI-1200F2FDP would be much better. For example, the inaccurate power-good signal in this unit is a huge oversight, which TT should fix before the product gets into too many hands. Hopefully, in the next revision of this platform, the problem will be solved. Moreover, Thermaltake should replace the mediocre Chemi-Con KZE cap on its +12V board, which gets quite hot under high loads. That'll notably restrict its already-short lifetime.
If you fancy RGB lighting and want a powerful (yet quiet) power supply, then the TPI-1200F2FDP is a decent choice in this competitive category. Its direct competition (Corsair, EVGA, Seasonic, SilverStone) lacks RGB-endowed options, so Thermaltake is practically playing alone in this efficiency class, at least for now.<More>
All in all, the Toughpower iRGB PLUS has become a nice power supply that, of course, stands out because of the great RGB fan with its beautiful effects. The price of 180 euros can certainly be described as appropriate for all this. Away from the design, but you get a great power supply with very stable voltages, very high efficiency and otherwise excellent values.
